Iago gave me an idea to kill Desdemona, and he pledged to kill Cassio. Then Lodovico arrives, announcing that I am to return home and Cassio is to be the next Governor of Cypress. So many things were going on, what I saw next was something I never desired to see, when I saw Bianca give Cassio the handkerchief that I gave to Desdemona as my first gift, I had lost my senses. I then questioned Emilia as to whether Desdemona is unfaithful towards me. She told me that there wasn’t anything going on between them but I dismissed her explanations as they weren’t important to me. After all what can you expect from women?

I met Desdemona having no control at my angriness towards her, she became upset and I eventually told her that her betrayal is the cause of my anger!
